How Remembery began

Lisa Evans’ Story

Growing up with my grandmother in Muskegon, Michigan, I was surrounded by a large and vibrant Hispanic family, rich in stories and traditions. My great-grandmother, a local celebrity for her involvement in Hispanic heritage celebrations, instilled in me a deep appreciation for family history. As I pursued a career in history and museums, I realized how many people shared this desire to preserve memories but felt overwhelmed by the task. This inspired me to start Remembery, where I help people share and preserve their life stories, ensuring that these cherished memories are passed down to future generations.

Now, as a wife and mother of two living in the beautiful state of Vermont, my passion for preserving memories has only grown stronger. Every day, I witness the importance of family, traditions, and storytelling in my own home, and I'm driven to help others experience that same sense of connection and pride in their own family histories. Remembery isn't just a business for me—it's a way to honor the past and celebrate the stories that make us who we are.
